ACCOUNT CONNECTIONS

Your email.
Your provider.

Gmail and Outlook use their own sign-in pages. Access depends on current beta availability, provider approval and your organisation’s settings. Contact us to confirm access for your provider.

iCloud, Yahoo and Fastmail use app passwords created in your provider’s security settings. Never send us your password, sign-in codes or tokens.

Quick answers

My account won’t connect.

Check that your provider supports third-party mail access and that you’re using its supported sign-in method. App-password providers need a current app password. For work Outlook accounts, your organisation may restrict IMAP or Authenticated SMTP. Beta Google sign-in may require an approved test account.

Mail is still downloading.

First connection downloads your Inbox in the background. The time depends on its size and your connection. Check the saved-message count and connection status in the sidebar. Already cached mail can be read while downloading continues.

How do I remove an account?

Open Control Room → Accounts and remove the account after reviewing the confirmation. This clears that account’s local cache, drafts, Outbox, managed attachments and stored credentials; it does not delete your server mail. You can also revoke app access in your provider’s security settings.

Why are images missing from an email?

Remote images are blocked by default. Choose Show Remote Images for that message if you trust the sender. Loading images contacts their hosts and can tell a sender that you opened the email.
